We ask you to frown, smile, and clench so we can see which muscles act, and how strongly.

Planning the injection points
Taking the muscle borders and the position of the eyelid levator into account, we set safe injection points and depths in advance.

Fine divided injections
Using a fine needle, we inject small amounts at the planned points while checking the balance between the two sides and the total dose.

Review after two weeks
When the effect has settled, we check the movement of your expressions again and judge whether fine adjustment is needed.

Frequently asked questions
When does the effect appear?
Movement usually begins to lessen within 3-7 days and settles at around two weeks. In areas where a change in volume is the goal, such as the square jaw or the trapezius, the muscle thins gradually, so the change is reviewed over 4-8 weeks.
Is there anything to watch for right after the treatment?
For about four hours it is better not to lie down and not to rub the injected area. If the agent spreads to adjacent muscles, reactions such as eyelid drooping can occur, so we also recommend avoiding saunas and heavy exercise that day.
Will I build up tolerance if I keep having it?
Cases where antibodies form with repeated treatment and the response declines have been reported. Not having it more often than necessary and not using excessive doses helps, and if the response changes we discuss the agent and the interval again.
Does a square-jaw injection cause sagging?
As the masseter reduces in volume, the skin above it can appear to be in relative excess. If skin firmness has already declined, adjusting the dose or separating the order from firming treatments may help.
Precautions and possible side effects
- Pain, redness, and slight bruising may appear at the injection site.
- A temporary headache or a heavy feeling in the head may continue for a few days.
- Spread of the agent may cause eyelid drooping, brow drooping, or facial asymmetry.
- Chewing strength may weaken temporarily after square-jaw treatment.
- Antibodies may form over repeated treatments, reducing the response.
- It is not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for those with neuromuscular disorders.
- Very rarely, the agent spreading beyond the injection site has been reported to cause difficulty swallowing, changes in speech, or general weakness; if such symptoms appear, please come to the clinic immediately.
